If you are an honorably discharged veteran from any branch of service, you are entitled to wear an honor cord at graduation on May 8, 2014. To obtain your honor cord, you need to contact an advisor or officer of the Student Veterans Association of Forsyth Tech. If you are not currently receiving VA benefits, your military service must be validated by providing your DD214 or a military retired ID card to Paige Lee, VA Certifying Official. Ms. Lee is located on the 2nd floor of the Allman Building in room 261 in the Office of Student Financial Services. The honor cords will be issued by Roby Lovett, President of the SVAFT, in room 123 of the Tech Building.
